Applying for a Professional Corporation Permit with the NSRDHDTD

Dental Hygienists, Dental Technologists, and Denturists who wish practice their profession through a professional corporation must submit an application for a Professional Corporation permit. See the document below for further details.

If you are an employee of a professional corporation that you do not own (i.e., you are not a legal or beneficial owner or shareholder), you do not need to apply for a professional corporation permit from the NSRDHDTD.

Fees as approved by Board:

• Initial Registration Fee: $150 for Professional Corporations - Permit goes from date of issuance to Dec 31 of the same year. 
• Annual Renewal Fee: $85 for Professional Corporations - The renewal deadline is Nov 30 each year. Prof Corp Permits are issued for the next calendar year (Jan 1 to Dec 31). For example, to renew your 2026 Prof Corp permit (valid Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2026), you must complete your renewal by Nov 30, 2025.)

The full Professional Corporation Permit fee is due regardless of when you are issued a permit during the year.
