Quality Assurance Program for Regulator Performance

The NSRDHDTD participates in the Government of Nova Scotia’s mandatory Quality Assurance Program for Regulator Performance (QAPRP), which supports accountability, transparency, and effective regulation across all regulated health professions.

Nova Scotia’s Department of Health and Wellness has reviewed the NSRDHDTD’s Quality Assurance submission (Nov 2025) and confirmed that the NSRDHDTD meets all applicable provincial standards and expected outcomes. The Board Chair, on behalf of the Regulator’s Board of Directors, reviewed the Quality Assurance results and formally acknowledged the compliance report as part of its ongoing governance and oversight role.

Quality Assurance results for regulated health professions are publicly posted by the Province to promote openness and strengthen public confidence in self-regulated health professions in Nova Scotia.
