Licence Renewals: Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH), Registered Dental Technologists (RDT), and Denturists & Permit Renewals for Dental Laboratory Technicians (DLT)
Practising Licences expire on October 31, 2025. Renewal opens on September 1 of each year, and closes on October 31 of each year (11:59 pm).
Renewal Deadline: The Board-Renewal deadline for submission of a completed application (complete form, required documents, and payment) for dental hygiene, dental technology, and denturism licences is Monday October 6, 2025.

Other Applicants (not current Registrants with the NSRDHDTD)
- Applicants applying for the first time must complete the Application for Registration form. Go to the Registration, Licensing, and Permitting Information webpage and select your profession for further details.
- Applicants who have been previously registered with the NSRDHDTD, or the legacy organizations (CDHNS, DLBNS, NSDTA), must complete the Application for Reinstatement. If you still have access to the NSRDHDTD Registrant Portal, you will find the Application for Reinstatement on the right side of the Main Page.
- If you do not have access to the Registrant Portal, please email info@oralhealthns.ca and provide the following information: You are reinstating, state your profession, and wish to request access to the NSRDHDTD Registrant Portal.
