Licence & Permit Renewals: Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH), Registered Dental Technologists (RDT), and Denturists (DD) & Permit Renewals for Dental Laboratory Technicians (DLT)

Renewal has now closed for the Nov 1, 2025 to Oct 31, 2026 licensing/permit year.

Renewal opens on September 1 of each year, and closes on October 31 of each year (11:59 pm).  Each year, the Board sets a renewal deadline for registrants/permitted individuals to renew without additional fees. Typically, the deadline is the first Monday of October.  

Other Applicants (not current Registrants/DLT Permit Holders with the NSRDHDTD)

• Applicants applying for the first time must complete the Application for Registration form. Go to the Registration, Licensing, and Permitting Information  webpage and select your profession for further details.
• Applicants who have been previously registered with the NSRDHDTD, or the legacy organizations (CDHNS, DLBNS, NSDTA), must complete the Application for Reinstatement. If you still have access to the NSRDHDTD Registrant Portal, you will find the Application for Reinstatement on the right side of the Main Page.
• If you do not have access to the Registrant Portal, please email info@oralhealthns.ca and provide the following information: You are reinstating, state your profession, and wish to request access to the NSRDHDTD Registrant Portal.
